Core Promise

When you "upload" a file to MWC Editor, you are simply loading it into your browser's memory. The parsing, editing, and regeneration of the file happens entirely within your copy of Chrome/Firefox/Safari via JavaScript. No file is ever sent to a remote server.

Data Storage

Local Storage

We use the browser's localStorage API to temporarily store:

• Your current theme preferences.
• A temporary snapshot of your edited values (so you don't lose work if you refresh).

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's cache or clicking "Close File" in the editor.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services to keep the site running:

• Cloudflare Pages
  Used for hosting the website infrastructure. Cloudflare may collect basic access logs (IP address, user agent) for security and performance monitoring.
• Google Fonts
  To serve the "JetBrains Mono" and "IBM Plex" fonts.

Advertising

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. To do this, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Rest assured, the presence of ads does not mean we are accessing your save files. The advertising scripts run separately from the editor logic and have no access to the files you load into the browser's memory.
